Whats better than arriving home at 3am and ravishing a whole frikkin serving of mousaka? nothing

it has arrived...

today marks the new arrival of my pretty precious camera...about time!! gonna snap and snap away all day!

had a very productive day, woke up. cleaned up. did my admin, got my camera. trained stu in the forest. was great....we got caught in the rain and got wet wet wet. but was nice. running in the rain.

things i have learned:

• little by little
• remember that we are animals

Who is in Antwerp?

Im in antwerp doing some personal trainer training. It is great, training is excellent, and antwerp is cool. bit dodgy though. Im about to watch SA vs England;;;; (tamryn bites her nails). I cant possibly keep up with greg and all his fabulous entries...

Look at the pretty cat sleeping on my back...i was only leaning over to see something on the pc screen, when he perched and got confortable...dont you love cats?

the all or nothing rule is bollocks..

in classic Tamryn style I have been following my rule of all or nothing and that has left me with a serious psych assignment to do, and one day to do it!! why do i do it to myself? wish me luck as i write deep into te night. yes, i feel like hte man in the pic.

Me as a maths teacher

I been preparing 2 young teenage boys for an entrance exam into a British school in Bahrain in English and maths...this has been taking up a huge chunks of hours from my day. I havent taught maths, or even done anything mathematical for years! so it has been really fun and interesting to see all the old simple stuff, but also to see how their minds work. We did some geometry today, cutting up shapes and stuff and stuff. We were great! !

Things I have learned today:

• never forget what you have learned, but more importantly, never forget HOW you learned it.
• no 2 minds are the same.
  

Schuberfouer...

Is that spelt right? either way, a fair comes to LUX once a year...and its fun. this pic is of me at this fabulous fair maybe 2 years ago?? i have not been able to get my self into gear and get there this year, and this post is to mourn that today is the last day, and i am totally going to miss schuberfouer 2007!

There ia bit for everyone...loads of nice food. cool rides (for the adventurous) and of course beer tents!

The Mirabelle - for bethanne

Im really porud of myself for making, well- helping make- my first pie! and yes, if you have seen bethanne's blog you can be sure it is made from her mirabelles. This was done a couple of weekends ago but i was all inspired to get it off my phone.. (the quality of the images shows very clearly why i am expecting a new camera in the post!

The videos on the right are about luxembourg, in and around, tourist style. Im feeling really in love with luxembourg today. i have had a lovely weekend.

this is a pic of ancient egyptian boys making beer...and i drank all of it last night! Started out innocently watching the opening game of france vs argentina (in which france was horribly defeated and argentina did it for the Southern Hemisphere!! YAY!) and ended up a bunch great people talking great things until the great hours of the night.

I'm Still alive and kicking

In preparation for my new camera i have to post a pre-new camera post.

Yay...

It should arrive in the next day or 2 and then things are gonna change. oh yes.

So, when my new camera arrives I am going to do my utmost to document all kinds of precious things that happen in the day and put them here.

YAY! here's to new beginnings and pretty pictures.

And why have I been so quiet? Well, in the last year I have started studying towards my psych maters, and changed jobs from an English teacher to a Personal trainer, and moved from a shiet flat to a fabulously cute one. SO, I been a little busy. But, life is flying past faster than I ever liked to imagine so I just want to get my little A into G and keep in touch with all of you lovely people.
